WES is a wireless fire alarm system for construction sites that detects fires and medical emergencies. REACT is a cloud based mobile app that sends instant alerts to managers when emergencies happen. WES handles the detection on site whilst REACT manages the notifications and response. They work together but can also work separately.

REACT can work completely on its own as a standalone system. You can use REACT by itself for manual alerts through the mobile app, or connect it to WES systems for automatic fire detection alerts. REACT also connects to other systems like WiSE. The choice depends on what level of protection your site needs.

WES3 is a wireless fire alarm system with no cables needed. It has a 3 year battery life and includes dust resistant smoke detectors, heat detectors, and manual call points for fire and medical alerts. The system covers the whole site through a wireless mesh network and meets EN54 safety standards. It also has a medical alert feature that does not trigger a full site evacuation.

WES system units have a 3 year battery life under normal use. This makes the system cost effective because there is little need for ongoing maintenance. The long battery life means fewer site visits and less disruption to your project. Battery status is monitored automatically and alerts are sent when replacement is needed.

The REACT app lets site workers send instant alerts for fire, medical emergencies, hazards, water damage, and lone worker situations. All alerts include location information and can attach site plans or emergency procedures. Managers receive notifications immediately on their phones whether they are on site or off site.

Yes, WES systems work on sites of all sizes from small projects to major construction sites. The wireless mesh network can cover large areas and you can add more units as your project grows. For very large or complex sites, signal boosters are available but most sites do not need them due to the strong signal capacity as standard.

WES3 systems are fully compliant with EN54 standards for fire detection and alarm systems. In North America, the WES3 system is described as the most efficient way to comply with NFPA 241 code. The systems are designed and manufactured in Britain to various specifications and have been third party certified.

WES systems are designed for rapid deployment and simple installation. Because they are completely wireless with no cables needed, units can be positioned quickly according to your site layout. Ramtech has experience with urgent delivery requests and can get systems to sites rapidly. Installation is straightforward and requires minimal technical expertise.

Yes, WES systems can connect to third party systems through WES Interface units. This includes access control systems, building management systems, and off site monitoring stations. REACT can also connect to various IoT devices and other wireless networks. Integration allows for a complete site safety solution that works with your existing equipment.

When a WES alarm activates, all connected units on site sound audible alarms and show visual alerts. If connected to REACT, instant notifications are sent to all relevant personnel via the mobile app, including exact location details. The system logs all activations for compliance records. Medical alerts can be raised without triggering a full site evacuation alarm.

The WES3 Manual Call Point’s built in horn delivers a powerful 95dB sound (approximately the equivalent of a loud motorcycle) ensuring it cuts through loud noise on job sites.

The WES system utilizes a flooded radio mesh network, with radio technology approved by the ICC and FCC. The system does not use Bluetooth.
