After successfully contributing to the construction phase of the Adidas Arena in Paris, our innovative WES3 system once again takes center stage in ensuring safety and security in one of Paris's most iconic landmarks - the PATHĒ Capucines cinema. Bouygues Bâtiment, renowned for its expertise in restoration projects, undertook the impressive renovation of this historic cinema, with Ramtech's support in fire protection and medical monitoring.
Challenges
The restoration project presented several challenges, including the need to protect existing assets comprising 2,500 square meters of floors and frames made of retained timber. Additionally, there were works in progress and areas requiring sensitive storage and hot spot work areas. Ensuring the safety of the construction teams amidst these challenges was paramount, along with continuous detection of air quality in confined spaces.

Ramtech provided a comprehensive safety solution utilizing our WES3 system. This included fire protection measures for existing assets, medical monitoring of teams through continuous air quality detection, and strategic placement of mobile WES trolleys throughout the site. These trolleys served as complete grouping points, equipped with fire extinguishers, emergency evacuation maps, first aid medical kits, and emergency call terminals connected to smoke and/or heat detectors attached to telescopic poles.
Security and Risk Planning
The safety and security of the construction site were ensured through round-the-clock monitoring via our connected WES3 units. These units are completely autonomous and resilient to power outages, providing peace of mind to the project team and stakeholders. Our meticulous planning and robust safety measures aligned with the project’s rigorous security standards, overseen by the esteemed Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW).
